Firewood Storage Shelter

Wattle and daub, the old way.

A small half-timbered building on a farm in Lower Saxony, Germany, built in the local vernacular style.

The pine frame uses the traditional timber joints of this type of house, and the panels are filled with wattle and daub, woven wood and clay. The ground floor is for seasoning firewood, the attic for storing hay.
